IMPORTANT DIRECTIVES :

(i) As per the directives of the policy decision dt. 05-05-2010 issued by Ministry of Health & F.W., Govt. of India, the Electropath Practitioners qualified from and registered with NEHM of India, New Delhi only is / are entitled to practice in electropathy / electro homoeopathy system of medicine. Above policy decision has been sent to Health Secretaries of all States including UTs for necessary instructions and compliance vide another communication dt. 21-06-2011 issued by Union Health Ministry.

(ii) There were 82 Electropathy Boards / Societies / organisations also functioning and awarding certificate in electropathy without maintaining any norms and standard but after the issue of policy decision the certificates of all unauthorised boards have become invalid. Therefore, the policy decision dt. 05-05-2010 does not impact the practitioners of other unauthorised boards / societies / organisations.

(iii) Other unauthorised boards/ societies / organisations have approached the Hon?ble High Court by filing a PIL with the view to restrain the operation of policy decision dt. 05-05-2010 because Electropathy practitioners of other Boards/ societies/ organisations not covered under the ambit / purview of policy decision dt. 05-05-2010 issued by Ministry of Health & F.W., Govt. of India. Hon?ble High Court during the debate of arguments , found that said PIL was filed by petitioner on the basis of false averments and therefore, above PIL has been dismissed with cost.

(iv) Therefore, now there is no confusion that NEHM of India is only organization is covered under the ambit / purview of policy decision dt. 05-05-2010 issued by Ministry of Health & F.W., Govt. of India and as such the electropathy practitioners qualified from and registered with NEHM of India are only entitled to practice in electropathy system of medicine only.

(v) Electropathy / Electro homoeopathy is regulated / governed by Ministry of Health & F.W., Govt. of India in view of the policy decision dt. 05-05-2010.
